Tea Post Limited was originally incorporated as 'Tea Post Private Limited' a private limited company, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation dated November 05, 2015 issued by Assistant Registrar of Companies, Gujarat. Company was subsequently converted to a public limited
company, to which the name of the Company was changed from Tea Post Private Limited' to Tea Post Limited', and a fresh certificate on
incorporate dated December 05, 2024, was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Central Processing Centre.
The Company is an organized tea café chain operating under the Indian quick service restaurant segment, serving freshly prepared tea and other beverages along with complementing snacks. Tea Post is the largest player in organized tea retailing industry in Gujarat, in terms of store count.
The Company began its commercial journey in 2016 by acquiring certain franchisee operated tea & snacks Tea Cafe from Tea Station Private Limited, through a Business Transfer Agreement dated February 27, 2016. Post the said acquisition, it launched own company-operated Tea Cafés and since then, Company have witnessed a steady growth in the number of company-operated Tea Cafés along with the addition of
franchisee-operated Tea Cafés.
As on February 28, 2025, their operations encompassed a network of 248 company-operated and franchisee-operated stores within the Indian states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. In addition to Indian markets, Company has recently expanded to international market of United Arab Emirates (UAE) through 3 of the newly opened franchisee-operated Tea Cafés.
Company is planning an IPO aggregating of 2,85,00,000 Equity Shares comprising 1,42,50,000 Equity Shares through Fresh Issue and 1,42,50,000 Equity Shares through Offer for Sale.
