German Green Steel and Power Limited was incorporated as 'Haq Enterprises Private Limited' on July 09, 2008 as a private limited Company, issued by the Asst. Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, Dadra and Nagar Havelli. The name of the Company was changed to 'Haq Steels and Metaliks Private Limited' and a fresh certificate of incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad dated April 12, 2018. Thereafter, the status of the Company was converted to a public Limited Company, with the name 'Haq Steels and Metaliks Limited' dated May 4, 2018. Thereafter, the name was again changed to 'German Green Steel and Power Limited' issued by the RoC dated January 18, 2024 via fresh Certificate of Incorporation issued by the RoC.
Company is vertically integrated iron and steel manufacturer with a main focus on TMX Bars. It has 2 manufacturing facilities; one located at Samakhiyali which is vertically integrated, and the other is located at Viramgam primarily operating in Gujarat. Their product mainly comprise of TMT Bars, MS Billets and Sponge Iron. Samakhiyali Facility is vertically integrated and supported by own captive power plant which comprises of waste heat and thermal power plant and also a hybrid wind solar power plant. This integration include manufacturing of Sponge Iron, production of MS billets and manufacturing of TMT bars. In addition, Viramgam Facility is also supported by the captive hybrid wind solar plants.
In 2019, the Company created a history with the commissioning of Samakhiyali Unit, further commissioned the 4.24 MW Wind Solar Hybrid project in 2023. It acquired a 97% stake in German TMX Private Limited, making it a subsidiary of the Company in 2024.
Company is planning the initial public offer by raising funds aggregating to Rs 4500 Crore equity shares of face value Rs 10 each and by issuing 20,00,000 equity shares through offer for sale.
