| Nifty Metal index closed down 1.05% at 13033.75 today. The index has gained 3.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, National Aluminium Company Ltd dropped 4.64%, APL Apollo Tubes Ltd added 3.36% and Steel Authority of India Ltd slipped 3.06%. The Nifty Metal index has soared 39.00% over last one year compared to the 0.91% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Realty index gained 0.97% and Nifty FMCG index gained 0.84% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.16% to close at 24395.85 while the SENSEX increased 0.15% to close at 78079.96 today. |
