Consumer confidence in the United States declined in July, with the Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index coming in at 90.8, down from an upwardly revised 92.2 in June.

The Expectations Index, based on consumers' short-term outlook for income, business and labour market conditions, remained unchanged at 74.7. Meanwhile, the Present Situation Index fell by 3.6 points to 114.9, marking its third consecutive monthly decline.
