In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index shed 50.90 points or 0.21% to 24,187.70. The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of the market's expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 2.92% to 12.60. HDFC Bank, Infosys and ICICI Bank were the top-traded individual stock futures contracts in the F&O segment of the NSE. The July 2026 F&O contracts will expire on 28 July 2026.
