The Nifty September 2025 futures closed at 24,820 a premium of 104.95 points compared with the Nifty's closing at 24,715.05 in the cash market. In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index advanced 135.45 points or 0.55% to 24,715.05. The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of the market's expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 4.12% to 10.93. Indus Towers, Tata Steel and Reliance Industries were the top-traded individual stock futures contracts in the F&O segment of the NSE.
